Ilya is 2 years old, which is the age of first steps, open words, and endless games. For such an age, the kid has a difficult diagnosis - an ischemic stroke. Ilya is from a large family. The mother raises children alone. After a harmless fall from a toy with a height of only 30 cm, Ilya's right side of the body failed, and he fell silent. At first, the doctors made a mistake: they put a plaster cast, assuming a fracture, and sent him home. The mother insisted on an examination, and an emergency transfer to the hospital saved the situation. There was a correct diagnosis: a stroke. The right side was paralyzed, the face was asymmetrical, speech was absent. A week in the intensive care unit stabilized the condition. At the discharge, Ilya could only babble incoherently, walked only with support, and the right hand remained weak. Doctors recommended regular rehabilitation, otherwise the consequences could remain for life. The first course gave hope. Specialists found an approach to the baby.
