Khalid didn't speak, and his behavior was characterized by unreasonable anxiety, tearfulness, and sudden screams during sleep. At the age of one, his parents consulted a neurologist, and the doctors diagnosed him with several conditions: delayed psychomotor development, general speech underdevelopment of level 1, autism spectrum disorder, and sensorimotor alalia. Currently, Khalid is six years old. Thanks to intensive therapy sessions, Khalid has made significant progress. He has learned to ask for things and has acquired many new words. In order for the boy to retain his skills and learn new ones, Khalid needs an intensive rehabilitation course that includes sessions with specialists in applied behavior analysis, sensory integration, and adaptive physical education.
