Dasha is 14 years old. She has always been an active and cheerful girl, but two years ago her health suddenly began to deteriorate. Dasha is currently undergoing examinations at the National Medical Research Center for Children's Health in Moscow. Despite doctors’ efforts, the cause of her illness remains unknown. To identify it and determine the most effective treatment, she urgently needs a genetic test. Dasha is being raised by her mother alone. Because she must care for her daughter full-time, she is unable to work, and the family relies on social benefits. Dasha herself spends most of her time under medical supervision and is rarely able to attend school. This test could help doctors understand how to stop the progression of the disease and protect Dasha’s health.
