Umm-Kulthum is almost 8 years old. She has been diagnosed with severe psychomotor developmental delay with behavioral impairment and elements of ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Despite her age, at 7, she lags significantly behind her peers. Her understanding of spoken language is partial, and she has no independent speech. Self-care skills are underdeveloped, and she is highly selective in her eating habits. Occasionally, she experiences aggressive outbursts. To further develop and consolidate her skills, Umm-Kulthum requires a long-term rehabilitation course, including ABA therapy, speech therapy, and neurodynamic gymnastics (NDG). Without these sessions, there is a high risk of developmental setbacks and the loss of previous achievements.
