At approximately 1 year and 10 months, his parents noticed that Dzhamalutdin was unresponsive to his name, and his active speech consisted of approximately 20 words.
After 2.5 years, his speech development regressed: his understanding of spoken language deteriorated, and he developed communication difficulties, hyperactivity, a picky eater, and a refusal to participate in activities.
The child is being monitored by a neurologist and psychiatrist, and a diagnosis of atypical autism without intellectual disability has been made.
Examinations also reveal associated disorders: residual encephalopathy with cognitive, speech, and emotional-volitional disorders of the autism spectrum, a retrocerebellar cyst, flatfoot, and postural abnormalities.
Specialists recommend comprehensive rehabilitation, including sessions with a speech therapist, a special education teacher, a neuropsychologist, a psychologist, speech therapy massage, sensory correction, bioacoustic therapy, massages, and hardware-assisted treatments. The treatment plan also includes EEG diagnostics and additional rehabilitation procedures.
The family has been recommended a course at a specialized center in Astrakhan, with mandatory accommodation during treatment.
Assistance with travel and accommodation expenses is also needed, as the family is unable to pay for everything themselves.
