Yaroslav was born at 28 weeks of gestation and immediately after his birth, he was taken to intensive care, where he spent almost a month. Doctors diagnosed a number of problems related to his brain and vision, and at one year old, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Yaroslav has an older brother and sister, who always help his mother care for him. He is very happy when the whole family is around: he smiles, laughs, and enjoys being talked to, played with, and given attention.
As Yaroslav aged, spasticity in his legs increased: his legs cross, his knees don't straighten fully, and he wakes up at night in pain. To alleviate his condition and give him a chance to move more freely, Yaroslav needs Ulzibat surgery. After the surgery, he will be able to stand on his heels more easily, the position of his legs and hip joints will improve, and the pain will subside.
The surgery is not covered by the compulsory medical insurance program and is expensive. This is an unaffordable amount for a large family, so Yaroslav desperately needs our support. Let's help him get a chance at a healthier, more fulfilling life!
