Tagir is only seven years old. His parents noticed the first signs of developmental delays when he was eighteen months old: he didn't respond to his name and didn't use pointing gestures. At two years old, the family consulted specialists, and after examinations, Tagir was diagnosed with delayed psychoverbal development (DPR).
Since then, his parents have been doing everything possible to help their son. He received medication at a mental health clinic, completed multiple rehabilitation courses, and worked with speech therapists, special education teachers, and neuropsychologists. Thanks to hard work and patience, the first successes have been achieved: Tagir knows and distinguishes colors, recognizes animals and tries to imitate their sounds, has acquired a few words, and has developed an understanding of everyday life. Unfortunately, he still lacks self-help skills.
Tagir currently has a complex diagnosis: atypical autism with severe intellectual disability (F84.11, F72), epilepsy (G40), and general speech underdevelopment level 1 (GSD). Rehabilitation is vital for the boy's further development and consolidation of his skills.
The family is facing serious financial difficulties and is unable to afford the treatment themselves.
