Nurbonu needs heart surgery. Let’s help her grow up healthy

When Nurbonu was nine months old, doctors discovered she had a congenital heart defect. Since then, she has been seeing a cardiologist regularly and taking medication. However, the medication only manages her condition; it cannot correct the defect. Doctors believe the little girl needs an operation, and it cannot be put off. Nurbonu loves playing with a ball and her toys. After the operation, she will have the chance to grow, put on weight and live like any other child. The family do not hold Russian citizenship, so they are not eligible for a free operation under the quota system. Her mum looks after the children, whilst her dad takes on any odd jobs he can find, but the parents are unable to raise such a large sum. Without your help, the family will not be able to cope.
