Davron Patkhullaev was born in Tashkent two and a half years ago. He was born prematurely, at 31 week of pregnancy, weighing just about 1600 grams. Unfortunately, when Davron was three months old, ophthalmologists gave him a terrible diagnosis - retinopathy of prematurity stage 5. This means complete retinal detachment and blindness. Fortunately St Petersburg ophthalmic surgeons can help such children. Davron had his first surgery when he was 4 months old. By the time he was 2.5 years old he already had 3 operations, and he needed one more before he could see a little. CIS citizens had to pay for the operations in full, and the parents did not have money for the 4th operation. Thanks to you, dear Toobers, Davron managed to have the operation on time.
After the operation Davron feels good, the doctors gave a positive prognosis, the boy has got minimal vision.

We hasten to inform you that Davron's surgery did not require all the money raised. The Regional Children Clinical Hospital in St.-Petersburg sent us a preliminary calculation of the surgery expenses for the sum, which we collected for the boy with your help. During the operation some procedures, medicines and materials were not needed. In total 64,164 roubles were spent for Davron's surgery. The rest of the raised funds will be spent on fundraising for the sake of our next beneficiaries on Tooba.
