Akim is only four years old. The first developmental delays were noticed at eighteen months: he didn't respond to his name, didn't point, and didn't make sounds. At two, he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Over the past two years, the family has completed rehabilitation programs and has seen significant progress. Akim works with speech therapists, special education teachers, neuropsychologists, ABA therapists, and neurodynamic gymnastics specialists. He has shown his first significant successes: he knows all the colors,
he has begun to speak: he learns poems and is already reciting them,
he understands spoken language, and he has developed self-care skills.
To consolidate these skills and enable him to attend a regular school, Akim requires regular rehabilitation.
The family is currently experiencing financial difficulties: his mother quit her job and is raising her son alone, renting an apartment, and paying for his classes. They are unable to afford these important courses themselves.
