Akhberdi is 5 years old. He has been diagnosed with delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD), general speech underdevelopment (GSU) level I, and autism spectrum disorder. From the age of one and a half, his parents began to notice that their son did not respond to his name and avoided eye contact. He was a very hyperactive and restless child. Akhberdi did not understand spoken language, which often led to tantrums. His comprehension was only at a basic, everyday level. His parents immediately began medical treatment and started working with him, which continues to this day. Specialists, BAC therapy, and swimming pool sessions were added to his rehabilitation. Thanks to this, the first positive results appeared: the boy began to respond to his name, his understanding of speech improved, and his vocabulary increased.
However, he is already 5 years old and still has not mastered phrase speech. Akhberdi cannot hold a conversation and has serious difficulties with communication. His understanding remains at a basic, everyday level.
The boy needs a course of comprehensive rehabilitation, but his family is in a difficult financial situation and cannot pay for the treatment on their own.
Let’s support Akhberdi and help him complete this important course!
