Iskander needs rehabilitation to improve his motor and speech functions

Iskander has a rare genetic disorder called Pitt-Hopkins syndrome, which affects motor skills, mental and speech development. The child needs comprehensive rehabilitation to resist the disease. When Iskander turned 6 months old, his mother was alarmed that his son did not reach for toys, did not turn over. After two years of going to the doctors, they were sent to check their genetics. It turned out that one broken gene led to severe consequences. Knowing the diagnosis, the parents took up the development of their son with tenacity. Rehabilitation has helped to make progress. Gone are the stims - repetitive hand movements, the child has stopped gnawing on everything that falls into his hands. Iskander started walking, learned to count to five, hold a spoon in his hands, and drink from a glass. It is impossible to stop classes, otherwise there will be a setback in development. Now we need to teach the child to scoop food out of the plate with a spoon (while his mother does it, and he brings the spoon to his mouth), dress himself, and understand spoken language. And also, work on your foot and pelvis, otherwise walking will start to cause pain. Rehabilitation at the center where people with this syndrome work is carried out only on a commercial basis. Iskander's parents are raising three children and have exhausted all their financial resources at the moment. We will support you!
