Maryam is 7 years old. The first signs of developmental delay became noticeable when she was 1 year and 3 months old. The little girl was diagnosed with speech development delay (SDD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Since then, Maryam has been under constant medical supervision. Every month, she receives medication and undergoes rehabilitation, which has led to the first positive results. The child has started to say simple words instead of using gestures.
