For several years, the charity Foundation "He needs you" has been supporting special children left without parents and living in remote regions of Russia to receive the necessary medical care. The Foundation accompanies children from the initial examination to complex surgical operations in the best medical institutions in St. Petersburg.
Each such trip includes long and difficult stages: diagnosis, waiting for medical reports and preparation for operations. Often, between medical procedures, children are forced to stay in the city for several days or even weeks so that doctors can monitor their condition and prevent a break in therapy.
For such cases, the foundation rents an apartment in St. Petersburg, a temporary shelter for our wards. Here children can relax after the hospital, recuperate, eat well and sleep well. This is a place free from the hospital atmosphere, where the main thing is attention, calmness and a sense of security.
