Safia is 9 years old, and after a year, she stopped looking into people's eyes and responding to her name, and her pointing gesture disappeared. A neurologist diagnosed her with delayed psychomotor development, autism, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Thanks to regular intensive therapy sessions, the girl has become more focused, and her episodes of inappropriate behavior have decreased. Despite her progress, she still does not speak. In order for Safiya to continue overcoming her developmental delays and achieving new successes, she needs to work with a behavioral analyst, speech therapist, sports instructor, and sensory integration specialist.
