Once upon a time, Ksyusha was understood only by her mother. Together they decided to live as if such a misfortune as cerebral palsy did not exist in their lives, but only barriers that they could overcome. So the girl in a wheelchair began to make pictures for glossy magazines, went to school according to the general program and became a full member of "ZARA" girls soccer school in her town. Everyone around saw how difficult it was, there were those who told her to leave her child alone. And Ksyusha, because of her peculiarities, could not say what she herself thought about it all.
But two years ago Ksyusha received a special Tobii system from kind hearts, learned to control it with her eyes, and began to put her thoughts into words on the computer. And the first thing she wrote was the word "Thank you" to her mother: "Thank you for helping me to believe in myself, that I like my life so much. And I want more!"
Ksyusha was diagnosed with mental retardation after that. And today she sent a letter to the foundation herself, because she and her mom need help. Here it is - unchanged:
"Right now I'm really asking you to help my mom. Yesterday our washing machine broke down, it was already old. Mom was very upset and crying. Of course, the "washing machine" is very, very much needed. Unfortunately, there's a lot of laundry with me. I so want to see Mom happy and joyful."
Xyusha and her mom have no one else. The loss of the washing machine is not the worst event in their lives, but they can't do without it. The machine is needed with a dryer, as there is no opportunity to hang the laundry outdoors, and in the summer the laundry can dry for days and get moldy right on the ropes - Ksyusha also told her in detail about this. Help her help her mom!
