It took Albert three and a half years to learn how to smile. When he crashed his car, his parents were told that they had lost their son. That he was like a plant, and unlikely to come out of it. The mom and dad, older villagers, had to master the Internet and Instagram, and raise money online to rehabilitate their son. They left their home in a remote village in the middle of Alanya, and traveled with him all over Russia, and even went to Spain, to find a treatment that would take their son out of his hopeless condition. And after 3.5 years, Albert was able to smile at them. And also to move his hand and start communicating with his eyes.
Now there is an active work on expanding the limits of Albert's abilities - to make his hands more mobile, to establish communication, to expand the possibilities of rehabilitation. Now doctors say he has high potential, the main thing is not to stop.
But each time, the parents find it more and more difficult to find money for Albert's treatment.
