After the rehabilitation course Muhammad gained new skills and abilities. Thanks to sessions with the behavior analyst, the boy's understanding of spoken language and following instructions has improved, he has learned to sort objects, confidently distinguish colors and correlate the sizes of objects. Muhammad was also given the first stage of PECS alternative communication and a pointing gesture. An individual ABA program was designed for Muhammad so that he could reinforce and learn new skills.
After intensive sessions with an instructor in adaptive sports and a specialist in sensory integration, Muhammad learned to keep his balance, follow instructions with an object (hoop, ball, cones, bisiboard), work on machines (treadmill, exercise bike, elliptical trainer), climb stairs, ride a gyroscope, jump over barriers and much more. The boy's large and fine motor skills improved; he learned to carry out several instructions simultaneously (for example, to ride on a swing and show his nose, to stand on a balancer and place balls by colors, etc.).
After the neuropsychologist's work on stimulation of speech, Muhammad's word pronunciation improved and phrasal speech appeared. He learned to develop phonemic perception on non-speech sounds (musical instruments) and made significant progress.
