Liza Stepanenko was born very small and fragile - weighing only 1,450 g and a height of 40 cm. The baby had to be beared at full-term for two months and when she was discharged, a usual life of a family with a newborn child began. But at 8 months Lisa did not even try to sit down and crawl. The baby was diagnosed with CP (cerebral palsy), spastic diplegia.
After numerous rehabilitations and constant exercise therapy at home, Lisa can sit down from a prone position and sits on her own, crawls a little on all fours, stands at the support, walks by the hand and along the wall or handrails, recently learned to walk with a walking frame. In 2018 Lisa went to school and she really enjoyed studying.
At school Lisa moves in a wheelchair and sits most of the time, which effects negatively on her physical condition. Experts have already chosen the right comfortable walking frame for Lisa to bring the girl closer to her dream - to walk and even run, play active outdoor games with other children.
