Two-year-old Halimahon is battling bilateral retinoblastoma.
When the girl was 7 months old, her father noticed a strange glint in her eyes in photographs. The outpatient clinic didn't pay much attention to it, which wasted precious treatment time.
When the diagnosis was made, Halimahon could no longer see with one eye. The tumor had spread to both eyes, and her right eye unfortunately had to be removed and replaced with a prosthesis.
The oncologists are trying to save her left eye. The little girl has already had 7 courses of chemotherapy, and now she is preparing for the next one.
Halimahon is the only child in the family, a beloved and desired daughter. Nothing is more important to her parents than saving her life. They continue to fight the tumor, but they need the support of kind people.
They are planning two courses of chemotherapy at the Blokhin Cancer Research Center. The main task is not to let the tumor take away the girl's other eye and not to deprive her of the ability to see. While there is hope and time, we can help!
Halimakhon is only two years old and she spent most of that time in doctors' offices and hospital wards. This has affected her character: the previously active and joyful little girl is now often moody.
