Mustafo, the second of the triplets, was born at 28 weeks in a very serious condition. He weighed only 878 grams because of hydrocephalus.
The baby had to spend the first two weeks of his life on an oxygen machine. After that, he had to stay in the department of pathology of prematurity for another 15 days. After the perinatal center was closed for quarantine, he was transferred to Children's Hospital No. 5 in Tashkent. Tashkent. Mustafo was placed in intensive care twice. When he was two months and twenty days old he weighed only 2190 grams, 45 centimeters tall. After coming home from the hospital, the boy was examined by an ophthalmologist. Mustafo was diagnosed with 4th degree retinopathy. Since there is no treatment for such a disease in Uzbekistan, he was sent to St. Petersburg. All treatment in Russia is not free for CIS citizens.
The boy's family could find money for the first operation. And the second one was scheduled for January of this year.
Now Mustafo's family has no money. Too much money is spent on the other two premature babies who also need to be put on their feet. That's why Mustafo's parents asked us for help.
