Little Dana has an autism spectrum disorder. She does not understand the addressed speech well and does not use it, there are problems with motor skills, there are no self-service skills, there is a fear of strangers and loud sounds.

First of all, the girl made contact with a behavioral analyst, her cooperation with the teacher improved, who conducted a special test of motivational stimuli for Dana. These steps allowed the introduction of the first and second stages of the PECS alternative communication system for Dana. A system of tokens (rewards) was also introduced, the use of which in the future will allow the girl to train the desired reactions and the clear implementation of specialist instructions. Dana learned to sit at the study table for a long time while performing tasks, compare identical objects, simulate simple actions with the subject to the level of independent imitation (in the first classes, a full physical prompt from the teacher was necessary). Work was also carried out on the formation of an index gesture and the formation of "listener behavior".
During 2 intensive courses, the girl's behavior has changed for the better. Dana began to cooperate better with specialists, learned to calmly give motivational subjects, problematic behavior has significantly decreased. Thanks to special exercises and tasks using cereals, small objects, balls, the girl's fine motor skills improved. Dana has become more attentive and responsive to the requests and tasks of specialists.
After undergoing intensive classes with an adaptive sports instructor, Dana learned to jump, perform exercises with a ball, overcome barriers, crawl, perform exercises to improve large motor skills, overcome an obstacle course.
