Aidar is 6 years old and has autism. The boy does not speak, understands the converted speech partially. Thanks to the intensive rehabilitation courses, Aidar learned to better understand the converted speech, to use alternative PECS communication, thanks to which he began to pronounce some words.
After passing the next intensive course of classes and hardware procedures, Aidar has made significant progress in his development!
So, the AVA specialist taught the boy to accurately correlate 12 colors and shades, fixed the skill of choosing a reward after successfully completing three instructions in a row using PECS cards, taught him to distinguish identical and non-identical pictures in a set of three, correlate an object and a picture, and also demonstrate how to use this object (motor imitation). The specialist also worked out with Aidar the correct pronunciation of short words when viewing the corresponding images and the pronunciation of longer words without prompting (glass, carrot, etc.).As a result of the course, contact was established between the child and specialists, the boy became more obedient, attentive and focused on completing tasks.
An instructor in adaptive physical culture taught Aidar to practice on various simulators, keep balance on a balance beam, jump, throw a ball, overcome an obstacle course, ride a scooter and a gyro scooter.
Also, as part of this course, Aidar underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and two courses of therapy using the Tomatis method. The use of hardware procedures during the intensive rehabilitation course certainly gave an impetus to the improvement of cognitive, speech and mental functions of Aidar.
