We thank you for the funds raised for Misha's rehabilitation! Unfortunately, due to the specific form of epilepsy, the boy constantly needs medication under the strict supervision of doctors, so Misha could not come to Astrakhan for a rehabilitation course.
We have sent your help to another boy with autism – Mitya. At the age of 7, he does not talk or play with other children.
After undergoing an intensive rehabilitation course, Mitya has made significant progress in his development!
The sensory integration specialist worked on increasing the sensitivity of the proprioceptive system, on the body schema, and improving tactile and visual skills. As a result, Mitya's coordination of movements, large and small motor skills improved. Also, requests were worked out with the boy in the space of the sensory hall using cards.
After studying with an ABA specialist, Mitya had a leap in visual perception - he learned to distinguish objects and actions when choosing from four cards, sort objects by logical categories (fruits, clothes, furniture, toys), achieved three-component motor imitation (the ability to repeat three movements in a row after the teacher).
During physical education classes, Mitya learned new exercises on simulators, confidently rides a gyro scooter, roller skates and a bicycle!
