At first, the boy was treated at home, in Kyrgyzstan, but there was no improvement. His mother read reviews on the Internet about the Burdenko Research Institute and decided to bring her son to Russia.
Bekzhan needs a brain examination, which could lead to an operation. The goal is to remove the nidus which causes seizures.
Also, the family needs help to buy medications to reduce the frequency of attacks, which Bekzhan takes on a regular basis.
A low-income family, where the father is disabled and the mother takes care of her sick son, cannot cope with the cost. Examinations for the boy can only be done on a fee basis, since he is a foreign national.
