Roman is 6 years old, and he has several disappointing diagnoses - delayed speech development, autism, epilepsy. Roma does not speak, partially understands the addressed speech, cognitive and academic skills are not developed.
After completing a 2-month rehabilitation course, the boy began to change before his eyes!
According to the results of classes with an AVA specialist, the boy learned to follow instructions with objects, to distinguish stimuli, motor imitation, to follow the order in games, to correlate Seguin boards in a set of two. Roma also mastered lacing, the game "coins in a jar", games with plasticine and clothespins, thanks to which his fine motor skills, concentration of attention significantly improved, and an interest in small details and toys appeared. To date, the boy distinguishes identical objects (puts them in 3 baskets) and correlates 6 colors.During the intensive course of classes, Roma became more diligent, sociable, isolation and detachment disappeared, now the boy interacts with teachers with pleasure and tries to complete the task.
Thanks to classes with an adaptive sports instructor, Roma has significantly improved his physical skills. He learned to follow instructions with an object (hoop, ball, cones, bizibord), exercise on simulators (treadmill, exercise bike, elliptical simulator), climb stairs, jump over barriers, throw balls at a target, overcome an obstacle course, somersault. The boy perfectly handles a gyro scooter, a scooter, roller skates and a bicycle.
During his rehabilitation, Roman also underwent 2 courses of Tomatis therapy and 1 course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. These hardware techniques had a beneficial effect on the attention, reaction and speed of thinking of the boy.
