9-year-old Linar has a developmental delay. He attends a regular school, but has difficulty studying, memorizing, and concentrating. In addition, Linar is prone to mood swings, often takes offense, gets upset, throws tantrums because of any unsuccessful episode and does not know how to control his emotions. Because of this, the boy practically does not communicate with his peers and is self-contained.
After completing an intensive course of classes, Linar began to cope with his emotions, became more open and sociable, and also learned new skills.
In particular, the behavioral analyst worked on expanding Linar's communication skills, thanks to which he began to cooperate better with the teacher, learned to ask for help in an acceptable way. The boy learned to play joint team games, observe the order, calmly react to a loss, without bouts of undesirable behavior. Linar learned to control his behavior during classes, became more focused and attentive. The specialist also worked on improving the boy's academic skills. Linar learned mathematical calculation and writing skills.
Before the start of the rehabilitation course, the boy experienced difficulties with the construction of phrases and sentences, did not pronounce some sounds, confused genera and cases. Thanks to classes with a speech therapist, Linar learned to pronounce the hard sound "r". The specialist worked on the expansion of the phrase, and the correct composition of short sentences consisting of 5-7 words. The boy learned to use prepositions correctly, to coordinate words by gender, numbers and cases. These are very important skills for Linar, because now he can freely communicate with classmates and other people.
Before the start of classes, Linar had problems with balance and coordination of movements. After intensive work of specialists in adaptive physical culture and sensory integration, Linar confidently owns his body, keeps a good balance, and even learned to ride a scooter, bicycle and gyro scooter. The boy enjoys doing exercises with a rope, a hoop and a ball.
