Arthur has successfully completed an intensive rehabilitation course!

4-year-old Arthur has delayed speech development with autistic traits. He does not speak, does not understand the addressed speech, self-service skills are not developed. During the intensive rehabilitation course, the boy began to develop positive dynamics in his development! Thanks to classes with an AVA specialist, Arthur learned to match identical pictures, mastered games for large and small motor skills, the boy got eye contact and an index gesture appeared, he can sort identical items into 3 baskets. In order for Arturchik to be able to show what he wanted, he was introduced to the 1st stage of alternative communication using PECS cards. The boy began to better understand the addressed speech and cooperate with specialists. A specialist in sensory integration revealed reduced proprioceptive sensitivity, decreased muscle tone, tactile and vestibular searches, due to which Arthur had difficulty maintaining balance and was lost in space. Thanks to a specially selected set of exercises, the boy learned to pay attention to his body and control it, coordination of movements significantly improved, the repertoire of imitation increased. Before starting rehabilitation, Arthur did not know how to perform elementary physical exercises and did not understand the tasks, but thanks to intensive classes with an adaptive physical culture coach, the boy learned to run, jump, pass an obstacle course, exercise on simulators, pedal, mastered scooter riding, and most importantly - to follow the instructions of the teacher.
