Elisha has completed an intensive course of classes and treatment with hardware methods!

Elisha has cerebral palsy and delayed speech development. The boy cannot move independently, does not understand the addressed speech well, practically does not speak and does not react to others. After completing an intensive rehabilitation course, Elisha learned new skills and began to interact with specialists, deep immersion in himself went away, the boy began to look into the eyes better and respond to the instructions of teachers! The behavioral analyst assessed the boy's preferences and determined the hierarchy of motivational stimuli, thanks to which Elisha began to cooperate and perform specialist tasks. In addition, the boy was introduced a system of tokens, the concept of "first-then", he learned to ask for the desired objects and actions in a socially acceptable way (through an index gesture and a card), as a result, eye contact was also improved, as well as concentration, perseverance, understanding of the addressed speech.The specialist also worked on introducing listener behavior, visual comparison, tact and phrase extension to the boy when making requests. Thanks to the neurostimulation performed by a neurologist, Elisha expanded the repertoire of articulatory poses, a feeling and understanding of the external speech apparatus – cheeks, lips, tongue. The specialist also worked on the understanding of speech, formed the correct perception of the meaning of a given instruction. Also, as part of this intensive rehabilitation course, Elisha was treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which stabilized the psychophysiological condition of the boy, he has improved communication skills and understanding of reversed speech.
