Rustam from Krasnoyarsk has a severe hereditary disease, mucoviscidosis, complicated by type 1 diabetes. Six years ago he underwent a complicated liver transplant surgery, which lasted fourteen hours. Despite the best efforts of doctors, Rustam's disease is rapidly progressing and his condition is worsening. Keeping his body stable takes more and more time: inhalations seven times a day, taking medicines every hour, special exercises. All of this has to be done constantly, without missing anything, adjusting to the state of health and well-being. Rustam has been living this way for several years now.
Last year the young man finished school and became a student of law in Achinsk Trade and Economic College. He likes studying and likes his classmates. But it is getting harder and harder to get to the lectures and seminars because of his rapidly deteriorating health in the last year. Each time the symptoms are manifested more and more, additional training is not possible. Most of the time Rustam has to spend on sick leave. It is necessary to consult specialized doctors. It is possible to get such services only in Moscow, in specialized clinics. The Dadashovs have two disabled children, so they must periodically ask for help from concerned people to organize the trips. This time, the family turned to the Foundation for help in purchasing tickets and paying for lodging for Rustam and an attendant. Rustam is so weak now that he cannot cope without help.
