Thanks to your support, Milana's family now has their own home!

Milana Shulgina has a difficult life. Four years ago she lost her youngest son. Being in a difficult situation, alone, together with her two minor daughters, she went to Untsukul to earn money, and then to Shamkhal to work on a farm. She had no time to despair; she had to survive. The family lived in the wagon they had been given on loan. They didn't complain because they had some kind of house and plans for the future. But it all burned down in a fire. So Milana was left on the street with the children overnight. Seeing the family's plight, they were sheltered by her friend, but she too has her own family and will not be able to take advantage of kindness for long... Milana does not give up, showing us an example of courage and fortitude. She does not sit idly by. She runs the household. Together with her daughters, she dreams of having her own home and comfort, but she does not have the strength to do so. And she has no one to turn to, so she hopes for help from good people. These days even full families find it hard, and single mothers find it twice as hard. If each of us gives a helping hand to this family, we can change at least one life in this Holy Month!
