Ksyusha has been battling soft tissue cancer in her neck almost since birth. She has undergone a difficult treatment, which varies from improvement to worsening. Ksyusha's illness has become a real ordeal for the entire family. Ksyusha's older, but still very young brother has gone to live with his grandparents. Dad has not returned from a business trip.
