Suleiman has completed 2 intensive rehabilitation courses and learned new skills!

Suleiman is 7 years old and has delayed speech development with autistic traits in behavior. The boy speaks a few words, understands the spoken language a little and is very hyperactive. After undergoing a comprehensive 2-month rehabilitation in Ingushetia, Suleiman significantly improved his cognitive and physical abilities, and learned new skills! The behavioral analyst was working on introducing Suleiman to the 4 stages of the PECS alternative communication system (communication using flashcards) so that he could build phrases based on a visual hint. Suleiman also learned to pronounce syllables correctly on his own, which will help form phrasal speech in the future. At the moment, the boy is able to distinguish 3 colors in an arbitrary rotation, distinguish objects by functions in the "add a phrase" format and follow instructions for two consecutive actions. The adaptive physical education coach worked on improving the boy's sensorimotor skills and on dampening his excessive activity in space. Suleiman learned how to overcome an obstacle course, perform more complex exercises with a hoop, a ball and a rope.
