It is customary in the Suleimanov family to honor traditions. One of the most important is the holy month of Ramadan. For thirty days Idris and his family fast — refuse to eat or drink during daylight hours. And then comes the last day of the long and difficult month — Eid al-Fitr. The whole family celebrates it. Idris helps to clean the house, lays the festive table together his mother After all, if the legend is to be believed — everything you wish on this day will come true.
Idris was diagnosed just a few months ago. Malika remembered every date well. April 8 — Idris complained of abdominal pain. On April 24 — we went to a regional clinic, took some tests. On April 25 — they took a biopsy. Especially the number 26 was clearly imprinted in my memory. In the morning they sent him to Stavropol, in the evening they said: «Idris has leukemia».
«We could not have imagined that it would turn out to be such a serious illness. Idris wasn't feeling well, but there was no acute pain or discomfort. You wouldn't wish that on anyone. Not even an enemy», — recalls Malika, the boy's mother. She admits frankly that when you hear someone just say "leukemia," it gets frightening. When your child has it, the fear becomes a million times stronger.
Idris began his treatment in Stavropol, where he underwent two courses of chemotherapy. From his native region, however, he had to leave for St. Petersburg, where Idris recently started his third course of chemotherapy. The treatment is not easy for the boy — weakness and lack of appetite are overpowering. But despite this, Idris continues to fight the disease.
The next step is a bone marrow transplant. A potential donor may be a parent, a sibling, or a brother or sister. To determine the degree of compatibility, it is important to conduct a special study — blood typing of Idris and his family.
Most of all, Idris misses his family and friends. Almost every evening he calls his brothers and sisters by video link, telling them how his day was, and assuring them: «I will get well soon, and I will definitely come home!» You can help Idris through this difficult stage of life and meet his beloved family as soon as possible.
Дай Аллах здоровья!!!
