After she had a cochlear implant, she did not speak despite the efforts of her speech therapists and parents. Then the Plievs sent their daughter to Tosha and Co, a rehabilitation center for children after cochlear implantation. After the first sessions, there was noticeable progress. Veronica was still silent, but she started to respond to her name and to her mother's voice. At that moment, it became clear that rehabilitation must not be stopped, we need one more course. - We are immensely grateful to everyone who heard our request for help and shared our daughter's fate," Veronica's mother Lorina said. - We went through the rehabilitation, and it was very fruitful. I can't rejoice when I look at my daughter's progress today. After a long time she was silent, and we'd already begun to lose hope of ever hearing her voice. Today's results are seen not only by her parents but also by the speech therapist who works with Veronica every day. The girl began to interact more actively with others, to perform tasks with interest, she got her favorite syllables. These include the syllable "ma", which is about to become a full-fledged "mama".
