On the 5th day after birth, Metin had a brain hemorrhage. On an emergency basis he was taken to the department of pathology of premature babies, where the baby spent 3 months.
As a result, Metin was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, and a shunt was installed. During his 4 years the boy underwent 17 operations: on the eyes, on the brain with the installation and replacement of a shunt, on correction of skull defects (cranioplasty). In consequence of many general anesthesia, Metin “rolled back” several times in his skills and abilities. But, despite all forecasts, due to constant rehabilitation courses and activities, the baby grows and develops. Metin learned to say "mom" and "dad", began to roll over, loves to listen to the music, watch cartoons, tells fairy tales in his own language, plays with his brother and sister.
In order for Metin to develop further so that his health does not deteriorate, and in order to avoid hip dislocations and subsequent operations, the boy needs to stand upright. It could be possible with a standing frame.
Only with your support we can help Metin maintain his health, improve his quality of life and explore the world around him!
