Askar has a very serious congenital pathology - Biliary Atresia. This means that for some reason his bile ducts were not formed. Against the background of this disease, cirrhosis of the liver rapidly develops, which, without treatment, eventually leads to death. The only thing that can save a child's life in such a case is a liver transplant.
Fortunately, Askar found himself in time in the hands of experienced specialists at the Shumakov Federal State Budgetary Institution "Academician V.I. Shumakov FNTsTio". Specialists at the clinic recommended a liver transplant surgery as soon as possible. Askar's mother was suitable as a donor for her son, and on May 19, 2015 Askar successfully underwent a liver transplant from a related donor (mother). Now Askarik is a very mobile and cheerful boy. He happily helps his father, mother, and grandparents with everything. But now the boy's relatives need help themselves. During the pandemic, his father lost his job, and Askar's mother is a teacher, whose income is more than modest. Askar was rushed to the Shumakov Center for control examinations. There is no way to skip this check-up, but the family has no money to buy tickets or pay for a hotel room for the time of the examination.
