Zelimkhan Yesimbiev from the village of Engenoy is a living confirmation that miracles happen: he was born in 1990 in Chechnya with a diagnosis of bullous epidermolysis: he grew up, got married, three daughters appeared in the family.
At the end of 2019, while repairing the roof, Zelimkhan fell and broke his leg. He was operated on in St. Petersburg at the clinic of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, specializing in patients with genetic dermatosis, the bone was strengthened with a plate, which had to be removed after a while and a new one put in. But then a pandemic struck: planned operations practically ceased.
The terms for removing the plate have long passed, Zelimkhan urgently needs an operation! The leg constantly suppurates and bleeds, if the plate is not removed now, the guy is threatened with amputation. Zelimkhan was sent to Samara for compulsory medical insurance, but local doctors did not dare to intervene: not every surgeon knows how to work with the vulnerable skin of EB patients. Zelimkhan is given a quota to the clinic of the Ministry of Emergency Situations only for 2023.
In connection with these circumstances, the Butterfly Children Foundation opens a collection for an operation for Zelimkhan. Let's help Zelimkhan return to normal life. One miracle has already happened in his life. It is in our power to give him a second.
