7-year-old Ismoil Kosimov has a severe dystrophic form of epidermolysis bullosa (EB). New wounds open all the time on his skin, which do not heal well with the formation of rough scars and other serious complications.
One of the most common complications of EB is the fusion of fingers on the hands: the hand becomes like a mitten, the functionality of the joints disappears, as well as the ability to hold a spoon or a pen. In February 2022, Ismoil was operated on at the Pirogov clinic, where his fingers were surgically separated. The operation was carried out according to the quota, but there are no quotas for the rehabilitation period. But after such an intervention, special dressings are needed, which are done under general anesthesia. Thanks to you, we have collected the amount needed to bandage one hand, now it's the turn of the second hand.
The dystrophic form of BE in many ways limits Ismoil's life: he cannot play active games with friends, but he has no equal in virtual runners and shooters. So that the disease does not take away this opportunity from him, the boy needs our help. Ismoil will retain the mobility of his fingers and will be able to play his favorite computer games.
