Rauf underwent an intensive rehabilitation course and learned new skills!

Rauf from Makhachkala has delayed psycho-speech development and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, as well as autism spectrum disorder. At the age of 2, the boy began a rollback in development – he stopped speaking and understanding the addressed speech, responding to the name, looking into the eyes, there was selectivity in food, isolation. In October 2021, the boy underwent surgery to remove an arachnoid cyst and a focus of epilepsy detected on an MRI of the brain. In June of this year, Rauf and his mother came to Astrakhan to undergo an intensive rehabilitation course, thanks to which the boy began to develop positive dynamics – eye contact appeared, a response to the name, improved understanding of the addressed speech, unwanted behavior disappeared. Soon Rauf will be 5 years old and he needs to undergo a repeated course of intensive training with specialists and hardware therapy using the "Tomatis" method, which allows him to improve both the understanding of reversed speech, and to develop their own speech in children with intellectual disabilities.
