Fidelity's main goal is to have fewer homeless animals on the streets. To do this, we use the "Capture - Sterilization - Release (Adoption)" scheme. It is important that sterilization is the only humane way to control the number of homeless animals. Unfortunately, there is no other way.
When you need to catch an elusive cat or a cat that lives on the streets or in the basements of residential buildings to be treated or neutered, special paraphernalia are used: nets, blankets, and the most convenient device - the cat trap. Cat traps are a rescue at the hands of the volunteer, both figuratively and literally. The bulk of homeless animals are so distrustful of people that they do not go to the hands themselves, and when caught, they can traumatize the volunteer from a simple fright.
Human rights defenders often complain that there are not enough of these traps. In big cities, they have to travel a decent distance to borrow a cat trap from a colleague and then travel all the way back again to return it. It is a very costly event, both in time and money. And they couldn't afford to buy the traps themselves.
The staff at the Fidelity Center decided to make life easier for these volunteers and purchase cat traps.
That's why we appeal to you, our dear kind hearts! Every ruble, every donation is important. We believe that by working together we can reach the goal and pass the presents to the animal protection workers!
