8-year-old Juleibib has autism. The boy's physical and intellectual skills do not correspond to his age, there are only a few words in his speech, and undesirable behavior is present. After passing another intensive course of classes and hardware procedures, Juleybib demonstrated excellent results! At the beginning of rehabilitation, the specialist revealed several sensory disorders in the boy (vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile systems). A number of exercises were selected for Juleibib to improve vestibular perception, as well as stimulation of impaired systems. As a result of the rehabilitation course, Juleibib mastered body parts to improve the feeling of himself in space, increased his concentration and his level of self-stimulation decreased (constant stereotypical movements – hand gestures, grimaces). The coach of adaptive physical culture taught the boy to catch a ball, overcome an obstacle course, rollerblading and cycling. The behavioral analyst taught the boy to cooperate with teachers, worked on distinguishing stimuli, on two-component imitation (repetition of two movements in a row). Juleybib learned to distinguish geometric shapes, to choose images connected by associative connection.
