Thanks to you, Timur now has an active wheelchair and can move around independently!

Timur has an unusual illness. Doctors are still puzzling over the diagnosis. One thing is clear: it is genetic, and because of it Timur cannot walk. Timur is 5 years old. He could hardly crawl, but that did not prevent him from being an active child. He loves to socialize, walk and play. He loves to read books together with his mother. The boy really wants to be in the community, and for that he needs a stroller in which he can move around on his own. Timur goes to rehabilitation 4 times a week. In a year and a half of classes, he has made great progress! Before he started, he was a soft rag doll, unable to hold anything in his hands. Now he can pick up a spoon and bring it to his mouth, and he is also able to leaf through a book with thin pages on his own: his fine motor skills are much better. He is now working on getting on all fours. He has managed to pump up his arms so that he can lean on them and stand up. Over the summer, he tried to drive the stroller: he is very good at turning the wheels! Timur was happy and did not want to get out of it, even though it did not fit his parameters. Now Timur's mom carries him in her arms, or takes him in a regular baby stroller. Give Timur the right equipment: thanks to it, he will feel independent and be able to spend more time among his peers!
