This blue-eyed baby will be one year old in November. He is just weeks away from his first birthday! But in those weeks, Abubakr needs immune therapy and a bone marrow transplant. Without that, he can't beat leukaemia!
Abubakr seemed like a perfectly healthy baby: smiling often, playing with rattles and babbling his first 'uh-ohs' to his mum. "My son was five months old when he started to have a high fever intermittently, sometimes up to 40"degrees. We got scared and went to the doctor, then we were convinced it was a viral infection. But one day the child felt very bad," remembers his mother.
After blood tests, it turned out that the boy had leukaemia. "At the oncology department in Tajikistan, they told me right away that there was no chance. My husband and I realised we had nothing to lose, sold everything we could and went to Moscow in search of help", says mother.
In Moscow Abubakr underwent chemotherapy, but tests showed it did not lead to remission. The boy's only chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant. But a transplant cannot be done without a remission. The boy needs immune therapy with Blincito to try and achieve remission.
The mother turned to the Life Foundation for help. The cost of one of the vials for the course of immune therapy is 195,170 roubles.
Let's help together!
Пусть Аллагь исцелит наилучшим исцелением после которого не останется и следа. Амин.
