Ufimets Shangareev Askar has been disabled since birth. He is 10 years old, he has cerebral palsy and spastic tetraparesis, but he is growing up as a cheerful and cheerful boy. Askar actively crawls, sits on his knees, communicates with gestures, explains all his needs. He is a very smiling boy and always welcomes attention. He likes to walk in the fresh air, on the street he always greets passers-by, and they reciprocate.
His movement on the street is possible only on a specialized wheelchair. However, walks are very difficult, since there is no ramp in the entrance, and the steps are initially located incorrectly. Askar's parents have been trying for a year to install a ramp, but they only get replies.
It is hard for the boy's mother to leave the house: it is necessary to lift the stroller, carry Askar in her arms, the father is not always there to help him go outside. Going outside is a big test for them. Recently, we went out with an accessibility expert, and he recorded the fact that the state of the entrance did not correspond to the conditions of the accessible environment.
A ramp is simply necessary for Askar and his parents: they will be able to go outside without anyone's help, without compromising their health and the integrity of the wheelchair, since one wheelchair has already been broken due to this situation.
Professional builders will be involved in installing the ramp and raising the steps of the entrance porch, but building materials must be purchased.
With your support, we will be able to make life easier for the special Askar and help him go outside without any problems!
