5-year-old Iman draws with enthusiasm and knows many verses by heart. In general, he is a very active and curious guy - he is interested in everything around, dreams of attending different sections and circles, but, unfortunately, not all of this is available to him for health reasons. Iman has a dystrophic form of epidermolysis bullosa. This is a severe lifelong disease in which the skin cannot perform a protective function and needs protection itself. Iman needs to cover his skin with special dressings every day to protect it from damage. Special atraumatic simulated dressings, silicone pads to protect particularly vulnerable areas and several types of elastic bandages are needed. Plus, ointments and medicines for treating the skin: most of the usual antiseptics and emollients for epidermolysis bullosa are useless and even dangerous. Dressings protect the skin from injury, heal and prevent existing wounds from developing infections. Thanks to them, Iman's life is as close as possible in quality to the life of his peers!
