Kubanychbek refused to have the surgery after the fundraising and motivated his refusal of surgery in Kyrgyzstan by the fact that doctors cannot give a 100% guarantee. The money collected was sent to two of our wards, given their difficult financial situation.
Kanaybek turned to us in October 2022, the collection was not completed until the end of January 2023, with time the prices for oxygenators and valves for surgery increased, and since Kanaybek grew up in an orphanage and did not have relatives, the doctors asked us to help pay the missing amount. At the end of February 2023, doctors successfully performed a heart valve replacement surgery, and after rehabilitation he was discharged home in satisfactory condition.
Julia was born with a dislocation of her right hip and had her first surgery at age 14 and the failed surgery shortened her leg by 2cm. From 2011 to 2022 she had already undergone 9 hip replacement surgeries. The last surgery resulted in a staphylococcal infection. Doctors in Kyrgyzstan wanted to amputate her leg, so she flew to St. Petersburg for medical care and had three surgeries between January 2023 and March 20, 2023. For the unforeseen third surgery, Yulia had no money, not only for the surgery, but also for housing. The following operation will be the last in a year - joint replacement.
The Foundation would like to thank every caring Touber for the opportunity to help! Thank you all very much!
