Arina had an examination and an intensive course of rehabilitation!

Arina was born almost 14 weeks prematurely - weighing 890 grams and only 32 cm tall. Shortly after birth, the baby was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity, laser coagulation did not help, there was a retinal detachment, and then the baby and her mother were sent to Saint Petersburg, where two operations were performed at the Clinical Children's Hospital in the department of eye microsurgery. Arina underwent 4 operations to remove the lens. After that correction was prescribed, and now Arina wears contact lenses. At the age of one and a half the girl was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. By that age Arina could only turn over to the side and back. All kinds of rehabilitation the parents resorted to had practically no effect. But after the first trip to Academician clinic in Moscow, the result became visible. Arina is playing, is interested in bright objects, picks up the toys herself and especially likes the musical ones, trying to dance with her hands and repeat the sounds of the toy animals. It is very important for Arina to continue rehabilitation and pass a full course of examinations and procedures for both the musculoskeletal system and eyesight. But this is a sum that is too small for the family, where only Dad works, and it is too expensive.  Parents are asking us to respond and help with the collection. This rehabilitation is very important for Arina.
