Hall of sensory integration TO be!

The Blue Bird ANO has existed in Astrakhan since August 2014 and specializes in helping children with autism and other mental disorders. To date, the center serves 46 families raising children with autism spectrum disorder. In such a short time, our specialists have managed to achieve lasting results in the development of children attending corrective and developmental classes, marked by parents themselves and confirmed by foreign specialists. In November 2019, we organized the visit of Polish specialists in sensory integration Agnieszka and Robert Lemanski and neurologist Magdalena Roszczyk, who conducted an intensive course on sensory integration and neurologopedics for Astrakhan children with autism, as well as trained Blue Bird specialists. However, further work in Astrakhan requires equipment for a sensory integration room. The opening of such a hall in Astrakhan will allow us to continue working on the development of the vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile systems of children with special developmental needs, as well as improve the work of the nervous system of the child as a whole.
