Injured animals received new rehabilitation equipment!

The foundation's main project is the "Pet" rehabilitation center, where 300 homeless cats and dogs live at one time. Most of them come to the center in an emergency: after car accidents, cruel treatment or illnesses that are a natural result of life on the streets. In order to heal the wards of the center, the first diagnosis, surgeries and the most difficult and long-term stage - rehabilitation - must be performed. It is for this stage that the daily veterinary staff of the center uses a wide range of equipment and medications to help traumatized animals efficiently and comfortably return to a healthy life, and thus find a new home and family. For animals with outdoor wounds and injuries, therapeutic dressings impregnated with various agents are used to cope with pus and necrosis, healing the wounds in a very short time. Also, most dogs after complex operations sleep on special anti-bedsore mattresses, which help prevent muscle atrophy, because after surgical interventions animals can not actively move around for a while, so their muscles are not fully supplied with oxygen. Unfortunately, not all animals can regain motor activity even after rehabilitation. For these animals, we buy special wheelchairs, on which they are happy to walk, run and socialize with each other and with the guests of the center.
